As of January 1, 2022, NACHA’s ACH Payment Cap has been increased to $1 million.
Regulation Z: Points & Fees
As of January 1, 2022, the Regulation Z adjusted points and fees dollar trigger for high-cost mortgages changes from $1,103 to $1,148, and the adjusted total loan amount threshold for high-cost mortgages changes from $22,052 to $22,969.
FHFA Loan Limits
The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has announced that in 2022, the maximum conforming loan limits will be $647,200 (up from $548,250) for one-unit properties. The maximum high balance loan limit will be $970,800.
Regulation Z: Qualified Mortgages Points & Fees
For 2022, the Regulation Z qualified mortgage (QM) 3% points and fees threshold will increase from $110,260 to $114,847.
Regulation Z: HPML Special Appraisal Exemption Threshold
As of January 1, 2022, the Regulation Z threshold for the loan amount for the exemption from HPML appraisal requirements will increase from $27,200 to $28,500.
Regulation Z: Threshold for Exempt Consumer Credit Transactions
As of January 1, 2022, the Regulation Z exemption threshold for loans not secured by real property or a dwelling will increase from $58,300 to $61,000.
Regulation M: Threshold for Exempt Consumer Leases
As of January 1, 2022, the Regulation M exemption threshold for consumer leases will increase from $58,300 to $61,000.
Regulation C: Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA)
As of January 1, 2022, the Regulation C asset-size threshold will increase from $48 million to $50 million, and the covered open-end lines of credit threshold will decrease from 500 to 200.
